100 MPH Water Skier Rescued After Crash Near Tacoma
A water skier competing in the World Water Ski Racing Championship crashed competing at around 100 MPH and had to be rescued. The Australian skier that has not yet been identified, suffered a broken leg and a back injury in the accident according to news reports. A Coast Guard crew that was helping with the race pulled the racer out of the water and transferred them to medical personnel on the docks.
