Fourth Suspect Arrested in Grandview State Patrol Shootout
Another suspect was arrested after a shootout involving a Washington State Trooper near Grandview.
Dashcam video reviewed by police led them to find and charge a third and fourth person involved in the incident. Manuel Jovanni Aviles, an 18-year-old from Grandview, was charged with first-degree assault and marijuana possession with intent to distribute, according to news reports.
The first suspect, a 42-year-old Grandview man, was arrested after being tracked down with his cellphone to a Walmart.
Another 39 year old suspect is being held on suspicion of first-degree assault as well as charges for drug and firearms but has not been charged.
One more suspect, a 20-year-old, is being held on suspicion of rendering criminal assistance to the main suspect because he helped Aviles after the shootout.
Police say he picked him up, cleaned his gun shot wound, burned his clothes, and gave him new cloths to wear.
