Armed Man Shot by Benton County Sheriff’s Deputy

A Benton County man is now dead after being shot by a Benton County Sheriff's Deputy. The man threatened the deputy with a weapon and then was shot Tuesday night. The deputy was called to Hazelwood Drive for a domestic violence call according to news reports. The man came outside armed with a weapon and the deputy shot him. The man was treated by paramedics and taken to a local hospital. No officers were injured.
