A teen along with three other suspects was arrested Friday in Hermiston on charges of armed robbery.

The incident occurred in the Highway 207 area near Hermiston according to reports filed by the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest also involved a juvenile teen.

Three of the people are jailed and one is in the juvenile detention center in Walla Walla. The fourth was released into parents’ custody.

Here is what a press release from the Umatilla Sheriff's Department described what happened :

The investigation began when a man reported he was robbed at gunpoint of cash, a cell phone, and his car keys.

The victim identified the suspects as Gerardo Aguilar and a female juvenile. The victim also described Aguilar’s vehicle and said that two other people were there during the crime.

Aguilar, 18, was arrested late Saturday night along with the girl suspect. Undersheriff Jim Littlefield said both suspects admitted that they committed the robbery.

Investigators learned that the two unidentified people were Jovanni Lemus, 20, and a second juvenile female was there. Lemus and the girl were located Sunday.

At the scene of their arrest, detectives also located the vehicle and a firearm used in the robbery of a residence on North Townsend Road in Hermiston.

Lemus was taken to jail and the girl was lodged at the juvenile detention center in Walla Walla.
