A Pasco plane made an unexpected landing yesterday after a bird struck the hull.

According to a report from our News Partner, KNDU, the incident scared passengers as the Delta plane circled over the Pasco airport for several minutes.

According to reports, a huge thud was heard from inside the cabin shortly after take-off yesterday at 11:15 AM after the plane was high in the sky.

The bird struck the plane roughly five minutes into the flight and the pilot informed the passengers that the plane was turning around and heading back to Pasco for inspection.

The plane landed safely back in Pasco and the Fire Department was waiting to inspect the plane for damage.

At the time of this writing, there are no details if the engines were damaged or not but you can read more details about the incident here.
