Body Found in Granger Canal Identified as Car Crash Victim

A deceased man that was found in a Granger canal over the weekend has been identified. The man's body was found Saturday afternoon by a passerby in the water according to news reports. Police say it looked like the body had been in the water for over a couple of weeks. Now that man has been identified as 26-year-old Jose Villa-Dominguez and that he drowning was the cause of death according to the coroner. Authorities say he died sometime after a car crash on May 3rd.
