Body Identified, Questions Remain After Woman Hit by Tractor Mower
The body of a woman that was hit by a large tractor mower in a field southeast of Kennewick has been identified from her fingerprints, but questions remain.
The woman, now identified as 53 year old Patricia M. Martinez, was known to walk along the area and lives about 1 mile from where she was found.
Police were called from the operator of a tractor mower that he might have hit a body in the tall grass south of Locust Grove Road last Monday, according to reports.
When police arrived at the scene they did find a body, but it was too damaged from the blades of the mower to identify.
There are still lots of questions that surround this case, however.
There have been no official statements about how the woman was hit by the mower or if she was alive when the accident happened.
