College Place Public Schools in association with Eden's Pantry will be hosting the next distribution of food to be distributed to those in need on Wednesday, March 3rd.

The distribution of food will begin at 8 am at Eden's Pantry, at 212 Southwest 4th Street, in College Place.

336 boxes of food will be distributed. It's a drive-through event, with volunteers placing the boxes directly into trunks of automobiles. Covid safety guidelines will be followed. Please make sure to have your mask on hand and wearing it when you collect your food-box.

According to a press release:

Cascadia Produce LLC in collaboration with Eden's Pantry and College Place School District No. 250 have agreed to partner to distribute federally funded Farmers to Families USDA Combination food boxes of exclusively American products (produce, dairy, and protein) to food insecure populations in the community. The boxes weigh approximately 30 pounds and will be distributed for free to food-insecure individuals and families.

You're advised to arrive early, as the 30lb boxes are expected to go quickly.

Eden's Pantry is located at 212 Southwest 4th Street in College Place. According to their website, Eden's Pantry is always accepting donations of the following:

Bread
Canned Fruit
Canned Veggies
Pasta
Canned Soup
Dry Cereal
Nuts
Nut Butters
Granola Bars
Juice Pouches
Rice
Beans
Homemade granola
