Covid-19 has claimed another victim. This one is a biggie. Covid has canceled this year's HBA Fall Home Show. The event was scheduled for the first weekend in October at the HAPO Center in Pasco.

According to the HBA Facebook page:

Due to the rising number of local COVID cases and the increasing hospitalization rates, the HBA Board has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Fall Home Show. For the safety and health of our exhibitors and attendees, we could not in good conscience proceed with the event.

The show typically draws an attendance of 2,500 with about 125 vendors.

In fact, when you look at Seahawks games and other WA teams sporting events, proof of vaccination is required, or a negative Covid test within 72 hours of the event.

Just knowing that the HBA Fall Home Show is planned to return next year is promising. However, another victim in the cancellation is the Tri-Cities Food Bank. You could get a $1 off admission with a non-perishable food donation. So, that's a rather large donation that the Food Bank won't be getting this year.

The Home Builders Association of Tri-Cities will exchange your ticket at their office at 10001 West Clearwater Avenue in Kennewick.

If you purchased a Parade of Homes™ ticket with a voucher for this show or received a complimentary ticket to this show, those will be honored at the 2022 Regional Home & Garden Show or 2022 Fall Home Show. It is not necessary to exchange your voucher/ticket as they will be accepted for admission for one of the 2022 shows.
