Do You Buy Cheap Shoes Often or Pricey Ones That Last Longer? [POLL]

I need to buy some new shoes and I am not sure the way I want to go. A coworker friend only buys really cheap shoes but they last only 4-6 months. I could also buy $60-100 per pair shoes that would last over a year and be more comfortable.

What should I do?
