A 23 year-old woman has been slammed with 6 and a half years for the rape of a 13 year-old girl.

The woman had previously been a victim of abuse, and has some mental disabilities.

The woman met the girl on a dating app. They began a relationship last fall.

The woman received the lower tier of sentencing for the rape of a child, which can be around 8 and a half years.

The Ellensburg woman has been described of having lower than typical impulse control for someone of her age.
