Ephrata Grandma Shoots Husband in Stomach After Argument

Holiday stress may have been too much for one couple in Soap Lake just north of Ephrata, Washington. After an argument at 2 p.m. Josephine Bitterman, 77, shot her husband Don, 78, in the stomach with a pistol on Monday, says the Grant County Sheriffs office.

Aside from being a bitter man (I know you were waiting for it), Don Bitterman appears to be in stable condition in Wenatchee, reported the Columbia Basin Herald.

Mrs. Bitterman has been arrested, however. She is charged with first-degree assault and we can't wait to hear what the argument was about.
