A photo of a cockroach near a register at the Columbia Center Mall prompted an inspection by health officials and now they've discovered evidence of cockroaches in seven of the 14 restaurants in the mall.

The viral photo of a cockroach on the display case at Sbarro cascaded into health inspectors inspecting all 14 restaurants. The Health Department discovered evidence of a breeding population of cockroaches at Bruchi's.

Bruchi's has voluntarily shuddered their doors and exterminators will be working overtime to clean the restaurants.

It should be noted that seven of the restaurants had no signs of cockroach infestation at all.

The Health Department advised the restaurants to be looking for any other pets and will follow up on a Bruchi's inspection in a few weeks.
