The Hands In for Hands On project to create a science-learning children's museum survived its recent funding crisis and is enjoying its final week of hosting a "Trivial Pursuit 50-State Adventure" exhibit at the East Benton County History Museum.

Jan. 2 from noon to 4 p.m. and then noon to 6 p.m. the rest of the week you can take your kids to see the interactive experience. The museum is across the street from Keewaydin Park, which is across from Kennewick High School and the Mid Columbia Library.

After that it will return to its home museum and HiHo will continue raising money for its next effort (it has a goal of $18k).

I encountered HiHo at a science event for kids a few years ago. They had some really cool exhibits of their own and plans to do really cool things in the Tri-Cities. If you need to make any charitable donations today for tax purposes, consider helping them out.
