It's hard to get ready for back to school, but even harder when your family is going through a hard time. A 4th grader at Lewis and Clark Elementary School in Richland and her father were critically injured in a car crash last month. The staff at the school had banned together to help raise money for the family to help with medical bills. They set up a Goodwill truck in the staff parking lot where people can drop off goods, and a portion of the weight of the truck will go to the family. Also, families have dropped off school clothes and other donations to help the family. If you want to help they need the following:

  • Clothing/Bedding
  • Books
  • Shoes
  • Housewares
  • Accessories
  • Small Electrical items

If you want to donate money to help they have set up a GoFundMe page and a YouCaring page. Check out the video below and we send all our best to the family and hope for a speedy recovery!
