Hispanic-Owned BBQ Celebrating ‘White Appreciation Day’
A Hispanic owned BBQ restaurant in Colorado is celebrating "White Appreciation Day" and is getting lots of attention. The owners first said it was a joke, but are now going through with the 10 percent discount they had promised earlier.
“We have a whole month for Black History month, we have a whole month for Hispanic Heritage Month,” “so we thought the least we could do was offer one day to appreciate white Americans.”
The restaurant Rubbin' Buttz has got a lot of attention on their Facebook page since the announcement, and not all of it is good.
Do you think they crossed the line?
