This Saturday, January 4th, is your chance to find your new best friend! PetSmart in Kennewick, WA, and Pet Over Population Prevention are again holding a special adoption event from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Several cats and dogs, puppies, and kittens will be available for adoption.

Lots of these pets can be found on Petfinder.com

Local shelters and rescue organizations will be bringing a variety of adorable animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and maybe even some small critters. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet potential furry companions and learn about the adoption process.

All adoption fees are typically donated directly to the shelter or rescue, so you know you're making a difference in the lives of these animals.

There are two very large dogs named 'Bandit' and 'Houdini' who have been in a boarding facility for months because there aren't enough foster homes available to house these dogs.

There are a few other median-size dogs who are also in need of a Foster home until they can be adopted out to a forever home.

If you'd be interested in fostering a pet until it can be adopted, or if you are considering adding a new member to your family, contact Pet OverPopulation Prevention.

And don't forget to come on down to PetSmart in Kennewick this Saturday from 11-3 PM and consider giving a loving home to a deserving pet!
