In an article posted by KEPR-TV, Albertsons will soon be making changes at the Clearwater Avenue location.
Did You Know That Safeway Is Owned By Albertsons?
If you didn't know, Albertsons owns Safeway and Albertsons will be changing the Clearwater Avenue Kennewick location to a Safeway in the coming months.
Albertsons has already changed one of their other stores from an Albertsons to a Safeway a few years back on Gage Blvd in Richland and it seems to be another logical move for the company.
What Will The New Kennewick Safeway Feature On Clearwater Avenue?
The new Safeway will feature a new Starbucks kiosk and customers will see an additional 1.2 million in improvements at the Clearwater location.
According to the article, the square footage of the store will stay the same but the pharmacy will add a drive-thru window and be relocated within the store.
When Can We Expect Albertsons To Change To Safeway In Kennewick?
Work permits haven't been filed yet but work should commence sometime in the near future.
