Poor Thursday, the sad day of the week usually known as "Not Friday." Well, in Milton-Freewater, Thursdays are about to rock! On the first and third Thursdays of the month, 'Thursdays Rock' takes over North Main street with a big community party with food, music, and more! Each party has a different theme to celebrate. This week (today) the theme is "Cultural Diversity." There will be live music by The Shop Singers and Native American storytelling, dance and drumming by the Generation Dance Group.

You can grab special nosh from Patty’s Mexican Restaurant and  Walla Walla Cheese Company, and there will be a daiquiri contest! Saagers Shoe Shop, Three Divas Beads, The Village Gunsmith and the Walla Walla Cheese Company will battle it out for the best drink and don't worry, non-alcoholic versions will be available too!

The first event kicks off tonight (Thursday, June 15th) at 5 pm and goes until 8. Businesses will even stay open late to be a part of the festivities! Go check out all the fun and to see future themes, click here!
