Man Arrested After Threatening Sister With ‘Zip’ Gun
33-year-old Malcom Engle was arrested last week near Mattawa for allegedly showing up at his sister's home, breaking a protection order, and pointing a zip gun at her.
A zip gun is any home-made device that can shoot bullets.
Police and a K-9 unit pursued Engled for about three-quarters of a mile and found him hiding in a stand of Russian olive trees.
He was taken to Grant county jail and is being investigated for violation of a protection order, felony harassment, second degree assault, obstruction of law officer and possession of a firearm.
