Mid Columbia Teen Dies Driving Home From Lind Combine Derby

Cody DeTrolio, a student at Warden High School (north of Othello), rolled his truck and died last weekend driving home from the Combine Derby in Lind, Washington.People who'd been with the boy that weekend say he had not been drinking. Family members think he fell asleep at the wheel. After sitting in the hot sun watching the derby and then joining the after-party celebrations until late at night, it is likely he wore himself out, family says.

Cody was popular at Warden High School for his activity in FFA, 4-H and the guitar club he helped get started.
