Mixing Church & State or War on Christmas? Portland Choirs Can No Longer Sing at Festival

Portland Public School choirs may no longer participate in the Festival of Lights due its Catholic affiliation.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation complained about the festival supporting a religious mission.

The grotto is a Catholic shrine and garden located in northeast Portland that hosts the choirs during the holiday season.
