Adams County Deputy narrowly avoids moose on the sidewalk

Early Wednesday morning July 6th, an Adams County deputy arriving at the Sheriff's office in Ritzville, was treated to a sight most of us will never see.

Captured on video from the building, you see Deputy Borden climbing out of his patrol unit, getting ready to put on the gear, head into the building, when here comes Bullwinkle!

The moose is likely a younger one, but he just jogs and trots by the officer as if he is not even there. He's obviously on his way to something important.

No word if any citations for speeding on a sidewalk were issued. In classic fashion, you can see Deputy Borden looking around as if to say "did you see that?!?"

Also, no word if Rocky the Squirrel went flying by moments later..
