Moses Lake Man to Police: It’s OK, I Stole Them From a Drug Dealer
A Moses Lake man was caught running out of a home. When the resident called police, he said the only items missing were fake gold necklaces with the plating peeling off.
When they found a man who matched the burglar's description, the victim could not positively identify him, so police let him go.
But then police remembered seeing the necklaces in the suspect's car.
When arrested the burglar chose the home to rob because he was told a drug dealer lived there and he was hoping to find piles of cash.
