The identities of the three persons who died in an early Sunday morning crash in Richland have been released.

Three Died when Car that was racing another lost control and hit a pole

The three persons who died were 19-year-old Daniel Trejo, 19-year-old Lianna Salazar, and Andres Morfin, 20.

Authorities say Salazar and Morfin are cousins. Salazar's hometown was Sunnyside, while the other two are said to be from Grandview.

Richland Police say alcohol may have been a factor in the racing and crash. 19-year-old Jennifer A. Duong, a former Kamiakin HS student, was the only survivor. She was taken to an area hospital and released, then taken to the Benton County jail facing three counts of Vehicular Homicide.

Police say a white BMW was racing Duong's black car, and she lost control

The driver of the white four-door BMW and a witness both came forward to Police on their own later Sunday. The fatal crash occurred around 2:45 AM Sunday morning at the intersection of Jadwin and George Washington Way.
