Fire is a tragedy. And the odds of it happening twice are unbelievable.

But, that's exactly what has happened at a residential structure in Pasco. The building was damaged by fire almost a year ago. The owner was currently in the process of restoring it.

The 911 call went out Wednesday afternoon.

Pasco Firefighters were called out to the blaze at 712 North Road 56 just before 1 pm.

According to Ben Shearer from the Pasco Fire Department:

The first fire unit arrived at the scene at 12:59 pm. The fire was quickly brought under control by 1:36 pm. 8 units from the PascoFire Department and Franklin County Fire District #3 were on scene, as well as units from the Richland Fire Department. 20 firefighters responded to get the blaze extinguished.

The building is considered a total loss.

The cause of the Pasco fire remains under investigation at this time. No one was injured in the fire.
