The Washington State Patrol Bomb Squad, Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, FBI, and other investigators are combing an area in Port Hadlock, a small community of just over 3,500 people alongside Puget Sound.  It's about 52 miles due west of Everett, across the sound.

This is a story that is already getting some national attention.

They also found a male victim who had sustained chest wounds from the explosions, was bleeding and had had his left arm completely blown off by a blast.

Also, a 6-year-old girl was found at the scene, she is reportedly the granddaughter if the victim-suspect. She had sustained some burns to her head but was otherwise OK.

The man was flown to Harborview Medical Center for treatment, his condition is not known.

Investigators from the FBI and the WSP Bomb Squad said charges are likely pending for the male suspect, they found evidence he was manufacturing explosives in the outbuilding.
