Rumor Is… Trader Joe’s Is Coming to Columbia Center Mall

A local resident posted to Facebook today that their friend has been helping Trader Joe's secure a lease at the Columbia Center Mall. This is a rumor, but one worth believing.

The thing with rumors is they're usually NOT true... but Tri-Cities is a fast-growing community with a great economy. Numerous businesses are taking a hard look at us. I have NO DOUBT we're on Trader Joe's radar.

Some of the comments pointed out that INSIDE the mall is probably not the best place for a Trader Joe's. South of the movie theater next to TOYS R US and Old Country Buffet would be a better spot. Since the rumor is clearly about inside the mall, that sheds doubt on the claim.
