Several Shots Discharged on I-82 – Suspect Detained and Arrested

Stupid is as stupid does and we've got a story for you.

The Benton County Sheriff and the Washington State Patrol responded to a call about a vehicle traveling westbound on I-82 discharging shots from their vehicle. Police jumped into action and detained the vehicle and suspects. The report was filed accordingly:

Deputies responded to an assist for WSP reference a vehicle westbound along I-82 where an apparent occupant had discharged several rounds out of the back passenger area. We located the vehicle and with the assistance of WSP and Prosser PD, detained the occupants. During the investigation, it was determined a 28-year-old, intoxicated male was responsible. All occupants were transported for interviews by WSP, the vehicle was impounded and the suspect male is to be charged accordingly.
