A Walla Walla woman is accused of starting a fire in her family's home Wednesday night.

25-year old Hannah Van Donge was found attempting to flee the scene by climbing over a backyard fence. She was arrested without incident.

The Walla Walla Fire Department and Police responded to the fire at the home at 1246 Whitman Street.
Upon arrival, Police were told by a resident that Van Donge intentionally set the fire while it was occupied.

It's believed the woman started the fire after an argument with her father.

No one was injured in the fire. However, the home did sustain damage estimated at $18,000.

Hannah Van Donge was booked at the Walla Walla County Jail on suspicion of First-Degree Arson.
