Helping turn Washington into the new Florida, Alberto Tito Alejandro of Lakewood, Wa. man was arrested this past Sunday after he led police on a high speed chase. The 51-year-old started his trek on Interstate 5 in South King County and wound up in North Snohomish County, reaching speeds up to 100mph, before authorities were able to apprehend the suspect... and his dog.

Alberto is facing several charges including DUI, reckless driving, hit-and-run and felony eluding. It is believe that the intoxicated man may have let his pet pit bull drive his 1996 Buick when it struck two vehicles at the Boeing Access exit in Seattle.

When police caught the Mr Alejandro, he told them how he was teaching his dog to drive, and yes, the pit bull was found in the driver's seat. It is unclear if the man is still in custody or released on bond, but that the Dog is still a good boy, but no Toonces The Driving Cat.
