Monday the State loosened the restrictions on what's referred to as Agritourism; in our terms such things as hayrides, pumpkin patch tours, animal exhibits and other mostly fall-related activities.

The state specifically mentioned the following:

  • "Animal viewing •
  • Hay/wagon/train rides •
  • Children’s play equipment/games •
  • Private firepit/bonfires"

So while we will see a return of some local-regional popular fall festivals, such as the Middleton Fall Festival Event, there will be others that will not be allowed to happen. These include Halloween themed haunted attractions etc. (unless conditions change between now and then): The state specifically mentioned these:

"Activities such as indoor haunted houses/mazes, high-touch games/activities that cannot be sanitized between each user, inflatable jumping equipment, and animal petting areas are not permitted."
