3 Kids in Fatal Midnight Accident North of Tri-Cities

A 26-year-old man veered into the opposing lane on SR-281 just after midnight and struck another vehicle killing the driver and himself.

The other vehicle was driven by a 37-year-old woman who had 3 girls in the car with her, a 9 year old, a 10 year old and a 15 year old.

The accident happened in Grant County and the three children were taken to Quincy Valley Medical Center. A 48-year-old man was also a passenger in the car with the 3 girls and was also taken to the hospital.

It is not known why the 26-year-old man left his lane.
