New grizzly details have emerged in the shooting death of a Pasco man last weekend after bail was set at $3 million for his murderer.

The man accused with killing 47 year old Abel Yanez Contreras is a 27 year old known gang member named Victor Alfonso Paniagua.

Allegedly, Paniagua walked to the front door of Contreras's home around 1 pm last Sunday and pointed a gun at the head of the man that answered the door, not Contreras.

Contraras was standing near the man that answered the door and Paniagua turned the gun on him and shot him in the chest once. Then reportedly shot him again "execution style" before running away to the Tahitian Inn off Lewis street in Pasco.

There was a short standoff while SWAT tried to get him to surrender. Eventually, he walked out and surrendered to police.

Paniagua has multiple cases involving weapons in his past but they were all dropped, according to reports.
