Late Wednesday night in Finley, Benton County Deputies on patrol ran plates on a suspicious vehicle spotted in the area.

A check revealed the car had recently been reported stolen out of Kennewick.

After pulling over the driver, the 40-year-old man -whose name was not released- initially refused to ID himself.  However, using his facial features and tattoos, Deputies were able to finally find out who he is.

He's now facing DUI, auto theft and Obstruction charges. The car was returned to it's owner, but did sustain some damage to the steering column; likely the result of the suspect hot wiring the car to get it started.
