
How to Get a Digital Box for Charter TV
If you pay for Charter TV and get it by plugging a cable into the back of the television, you'll soon need a digital cable box to get reception. Charter is changing how it provides its TV services and if you get cable through a literal cable, service will eventually stop. Here's how to get a box:
Depending on your contract with Charter, the company will lease you boxes for free for a limited time. If your contract does not cover the boxes, or you need more than they offer, you can lease the boxes for a monthly charge. Several people have tried to purchase a box, and they're not for sale. The only way around it is to buy a newer HDTV or have TiVo.
