A man was arrested for animal cruelty, after someone saw him mistreating a kitten in Kennewick.

The Witness Called Authorities for Help

At about 11 am, Thursday, Animal Control officers responded to the 500 block of North Fruitland Street, after the alert witness reported seeing the man stuff a kitten into a wool sock and tied it closed with a string.

Upon arrival, Animal Control Officer Jackson observed 26-year old Destin Delgado aggressively handling another kitten. Animal Control Officer Marchbanks also tried to intervene, and Delgado became aggressive toward them.
