A late-night weapons complaint in Kennewick has yielded no suspects yet and Kennewick Police are looking for a suspect or suspects.

In a press release from the KPD, they are currently looking for an individual that fired shots early morning on October 30th.

Here is what the KPD know about the situation:

On 10/30/2020 at approximately 12:50 am, Kennewick Police Officers were dispatched to a weapons complaint located in the area of 40th Ave. and S. Vancouver Street.

Several people called 911 advising of shots fired and an unknown description vehicle fleeing the area.

Officers arrived in the area and located shell casings in the middle of Vancouver Street. It was determined that a vehicle was struck by the gunfire. Nobody was injured in this incident and no structures appeared to be struck by gunfire.

This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the general public.

This is an ongoing investigation and details are limited at this time.
