I hate to break it to you, but summer is almost over. Sure, summer technically lasts in through September a bit but school will be back in session so that means bye bye to free summer weekends and hello to study sessions, school sports, and everything else that come along with fall. So, I figured you'd want to make the most of your final summer weekends. This being the next to last summer weekend, I gathered some fun for you to partake in. take a gander at the events below and live it up for summer as long as you can!
Wine & Jazz at Bartholomew- If you like good wine and good music head to Bartholomew tonight! The music starts at 6 and it's the perfect chance for you to check out great local musicians, wine, and the new wine village in Kennewick!
9 to 5- Don't miss the final weekend of 9 to 5 the Musical in Walla Walla! This production is directed by former New York director and Walla Walla native Tyson Kaup (Last 5 Years, Cabaret). "9 to 5" features music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, book by Patricia Resnick, and is based on the 1980 hit movie of the same name. Set in the late 1970s, this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic.
Summer Recital at the Library- Free Concert at the Richalnd Public Library. Classical Guitar Solos, Duets, and Quartet. Featuring Michael LeFevre, Michael Edmondson, Stella Kosim, and Robert Vierschilling.
Drumheller’s Winemaker Dinner Party featuring Purple Star Wines! - They are excited to host this Winemaker Dinner with our dear friends at Purple-Star Wines.
Working together with our Chef Pauline, they have prepared a fabulous evening, starting with innovative appetizers paired with the perfect wines in our hotel’s Living Room. The group will then move to Drumheller’s to enjoy a fresh and locally-sourced fabulous dinner menu made all the more delicious with artfully paired wines followed by a memorable dessert.
Dancing and Dining with Intro Salsa Lesson -TCSC PreParty!- Join The Kitchen at Barnard Griffin for the TriCities Salsa Congress Preparty!!! Happening on Saturday, August 25. We will be offering an introductory Salsa class at 8:30pm, so bring a friend who has always been curious to give it a try! Enjoy a mix of music by DJ Who-Leo throughout the evening including salsa, bachata, cumbia, kizomba, and more. Come early for dinner (reservations encouraged!), and sip on the delicious wines of Barnard Griffin while we dance the night away. A special late night menu will also be available. All proceeds will go towards the Tricities Salsa Congress.
