The first long weekend of summer is upon us! Memorial Day weekend is of course about celebrating those who have given their lives in our armed forces, but it's also about BBQs, camping, friends, and family! So, make sure you give thanks to those who have sacrificed so that we can enjoy our country. And also, have a great time enjoying friends and family at all kinds of fun events this weekend! Friday

  • Friday Night House Party 18+ - Out And About Presents "Friday Night House Party" 18 and over - 21 to Drink! $7 Cover at the door, and ladies in free before 10PM! DJ Sco will be mixing up all the hottest music thru the night. Hip-Hop, Top40, Latin and much more!

Saturday

  • Public Cupping at The Local BlankSpace- Not sure what a cupping is? That's okay! It's the best way to learn different regions and learn what notes and aromas you can expect from them. Kinda like wine tasting, but coffee! This event is pay what you want. Suggested $5, but if that holds you back they'd rather you just come!

  • Memorial Day Weekend Celebration - Enjoy the sunshine, wine, and music by Eddie Manzanares from 12:00 – 3:00pm at 14 Hands Winery. Small bites and wine by the glass will be available for purchase. All ages welcome.

  • Farmers Market - the opening day of Freshpicks Saturday Farmers Market in front of the TRAC Center in Pasco! It will be held every Saturday here from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning this Saturday, May 26th, through September. There will be popcorn stands, crafters, fruit vendors, and more!

  • Memorial Day Weekend Open Swim - You can get your pool fix Saturday-Monday for open swim at the Memorial Aquatic Park! Season Pass holders get in at 1pm, all others at 2pm. Cost for non-pass holders is $3/day with a food drive on Monday, May 28 supporting 2nd Harvest. Monday swim will be $1 with 2 donated canned good items, $3 without.

  • Beer Choir: Atomic Chapter May meeting- Sing! Drink Beer! Celebrate Memorial Day weekend! Beer Choir is FREE and open to the public. No auditions or experience necessary. Don't dress up, unless that's how you roll. We will provide the Beer Choir Hymnal and have a grand time in the ancient tradition of people singing while drinking beer. Stay for as little or as long as you'd like. It's often standing room only at White Bluffs Brewing, so get there early to guarantee yourself a seat.

Sunday

  • Summer Kickoff Concert - Outdoor concert at Clover Island Inn featuring nationally acclaimed Jimmy Buffet tribute band The Parrot Heads. Local bands as well. Plenty of food, beverages and cigars. 21 and over only.

  • Fidelitas BBQ with The Decantors! - Join Fidelitas for a beautiful afternoon on Red Mountain enjoying the viticultural wonders that Fidelitas has to offer! Not too mention you get to hang out and sing along with us while chowing on some BBQ!!

  •  The Big Gay Pride BBQ - "The Big Gay Pride BBQ" at D's Wicked Cider in Kennewick! Sunday, May 27th from 1PM to 6PM is the kick off the week long Tri-Cities Pride Festival with a family friendly event. Celebrate the start of Pride! Bring that radiant smile and join us in this amazing, fun, free all ages event.

Monday

  • Strawberry Jamboree - Strawberry Jamboree at Bill's Berry Farm! Farm fresh strawberries, hot donuts, Farm Store, Barnyard Train rides, BBQ & more! Saturdays May 19- June 2 9am-5pm. Special hours for Memorial Day.

  • March to Remember - Veterans, families, and friends, you're invited to join a 20-mile walk around the Riverfront trail to remember our fallen heroes and to raise awareness for veteran suicide. Chose to do the whole 20 miles or they will have checkpoints at the 5, 10, and the finish line at 20 miles. The walk will start and finish at the Veterans Memorial in Kennewick Park. Also chose to bring up to a 100lb pack to represent the burden our military must bring home with them from war.

  • Mom N Me Art Classes - At this special parent/child class (dads and/or grandparents are also welcome to attend) at The Wet Platte. Preschoolers gleefully create their own masterpieces using a wide range of art materials. Kids in the Preschool Art Parties develop skills important for school success such as fine motor skills, language, cognitive skills and the ability to listen and follow directions. Each age appropriate art project is designed around a children's book. They learn about color, texture and more while experimenting with new, engaging materials and art techniques.

  • Pay to Play on the Lawn at The TRAC - Monday May 28th , Knockerball Tricities will be out on the lawn at the TRAC in Pasco, weather permitting!! They will be doing a Pay to Play. They will have our Knockerballs as well as the Soccer Dart Board and their New Connect 4 Basketball.

  • Memorial Day Service- Join the service at Sunset Gardens to honor those who have served our country! We will raise over 1,200 flags in honor of our brave soldiers and veterans! Bring your family to the free event and enjoy free live music, food and ice cream!
