Othello Man Rolls Van Full of People, Kills Boy, Arrested
Washington State Patrol and Franklin County sheriffs responded to a grisly auto accident Tuesday morning near Basin City.
A 48-year-old Othello man was driving a van full of people on Road 170 north of Pasco when he tried to pass a car slowing to turn onto High Point Road. He negotiated the lane change poorly and rolled the van.
A 12-year-old boy was ejected and killed.
