Sweet Relief! High Temperatures Back in the 80s Next Week
Next person to asks, "Hot enough for ya?" gets a one-way ticket to Ignoreville. Yes, it's hot enough for me. It's not enough for devil let alone random dude in the Yakima Valley. Fortunate news is that we're getting our moderate temperatures back as early as next week.
According to weather.com we're expecting our last 100 degree day (for now) on Sunday when the heat advisory lifts enough as the high on Monday is slated for 97. Still hot but not as hot as it had been this past week.
Then looking ahead it drops further even with an expected high of 81 on Thursday -- perfect for Downtown Summer Nights.
After that, though, it's slated to go back up to the upper 90s for a while but doesn't seem like it'll be 100 again this year. Let's hope not as I'm done with it.
Hopefully you can hold on long enough keep the AC running and the fans blowing and stay hydrated. Relief from this heat is coming in just a few days. I'm looking forward to it.
Then, before you know it, we'll be in December with a blanket of snow, wishing we had this heat to melt it off our driveway. Too bad we can't bottle it.
