Toddlers Found Playing With Loaded Handgun North of Yakima

According to a story in today's Yakima Herald-Republic, Yakima County sheriff's deputies arrested the mother of two toddlers In the early morning hours of Thursday (May 24) after her 1- and 3-year-old children were found on the loose in a Selah mobile home park ... carrying a loaded handgun!

The newspaper's report said that a resident of the mobile home park noticed the little tikes wandering around and as he was ushering them to the manager's office, the one-year-old dropped what he thought was a toy gun but it turned out to be a loaded handgun!

Please if you have a gun lock those suckers up! There should be no reason a child is walking around in a diaper with a loaded gun.
