Train Crossing Signs Not Working Locals Say, BEWARE!

At least two people have shared on Facebook that they saw a train approaching a Tri-Cities intersection and the drop bar and lights did not activate! Drive cautiously over railroad tracks!

If you ever it happen, you're supposed to call 1-800-832-5452  immediately to report it.

I for one always take safety for granted. I drive right over railroad tracks believing the lights will always work, and if there are no lights the tracks must be inactive.

I had no idea how naive I've been! For my safety and that of my family, I will now exercise proper caution -- as I was taught to in Driver's Education!
