Congratulations to WSP on 100 brave years!

However, bravery comes with a cost. So during its 100th anniversary, Washington State Patrol is celebrating their fallen officers. I can't even imagine what these brave men and women go through on a daily basis. Oh sure, we can wrinkle our noses when we see red and blue lights in our rear view mirror, but it's more than just handing out speeding tickets. The real criminal element they deal with every day quite frankly frightens me. The drug dealers, the rapists and the murderers. They're out there and they're on the same roads we're on. They carry illegal weapons and have evil intentions. Troopers and officers alike never know what they're walking up on next. I might also add that this goes for tow truck drivers also! So I hope you'll join me in taking a moment to think about and honor those who have lost their lives in the line of duty. And that line of duty is really all about one thing: keeping us safe. Thank you WSP for sharing these stories.
