Oh No – Not Snow! Here’s What to Expect in Tri-Cities This Week.

Yes, some of the white stuff will start to fall in parts of the Columbia Basin beginning tonight after 10:00 p.m. (20% chance) and will continue on and off until Friday at 10:00 a.m. (40% chance). Luckily you won't need a snow plow or a snow blower - in fact, it will likely turn to rain during the day and then freeze up at night. This will make it tricky for travelers after sundown. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30s and lows in the upper 20s.

Currently, Snoqualmie looks like it will be mostly clear Friday and Saturday with lows around freezing.

I think we're all keeping our fingers crossed that we'll get through the rest of the winter without any significant snowfall. Right now the 10-day forecast shows we will warm back up in to the 40s and near 50 by the end of the month. If you recall, Snowmageddon started at the beginning of February and continued for 22 days. Memories of that great 2019 Tri-Cities Snowmageddon are still fresh in my mind. It was one for the record books for sure with over 24 inches in Tri-Cities, 31 inches in Yakima and 32.5 in Pendleton.
