Prosser Police need your help in capturing a burglary suspect and the weird thing is that the suspect is shoeless.

In a posting from the Prosser Police Department, Prosser Police are asking for help in identifying a burglar that seems to take off their shoes during the robbery.

Here is the posting from the Prosser Police and the details on the crime:

In the early hours of May 5th, an unknown male entered the construction site at Keene-Riverview Elementary School and proceeded to break into the secure containers and steal a few thousand dollars worth of equipment. During the course of the burglary, the suspect decided for unknown reasons to remove his shoes for a while.
The male has very distinct tattoos on his hands so we are hoping that someone will recognize this suspect or his tattoos and let us know. If you have any information or possible suspect leads, please contact Prosser PD (509-786-1500) or Non-Emergency Dispatch (509-786-2112) and ask to speak with an Officer.

Police still don't know why the suspect took off their shoes during the robbery but it might be a way to identify him.

We've posted surveillance photos below for you to check and perhaps you'll be able to identify the suspect. If you have any information or possible leads, contact Prosser PD (509-786-1500) or Non-Emergency Dispatch (509-786-2112) and ask to speak with an Officer.
